Výtvarná umělkyně se narodila v roce 1972 ve Zlíně v České republice.
Po studiu na gymnáziu ve Zlíně a pádů Železné opony v 90. letech se odstěhovala do Vídně, kde působila 3 roky a intenzivně se v těchto letech začala věnovat výtvarnému umění. Ve Vídni působila jako asistentka v galerijní činnosti.
V roce 1994 se odstěhovala do Německa, kde zůstala celých 12 let. Žila a tvořila ve městech Heilbronn, Stuttgart a Karlsruhe. V tomto období jí nejvíce ovlivnila židovská kultura a komunita. Aktivně se věnovala výtvarnému umění. Její díla byla vystavována v řadě galerií měst Stuttgart, Heilbronn, Ludvigsburg atd. Absolvovala výtvarné kurzy v Izraeli a Heilbronnu.

V roce 2006 přesunula své místo působnosti na dobu 10 let do Švédska do města Jönköping a Göteborg. Pobyt v ryzí přírodě a ateliér postavený na břehu jezera ovlivnil její dílo na několik let.

V roce 2016 se vrátila do České republiky, kde působí dodnes. Ve městě Zlíně tvoří ve svém ateliéru svá současná díla.

Od roku 2018 do 2022 byla členkou UNIE VÝTVARNÝCH UMĚLCŮ OLOMOUCKA.

Mezi oblíbenou techniku malování Martiny Mokrášové patří olej na velkých plátnech. Její doménou je abstrakce a práce s 24k zlatem na plátně. Oblíbeným tématem umělkyně je zachycení energie velkoměsta v kontrastu s jejím dlouholetým pobytem v přírodě ve Švédsku. Obrazy se vystavují v galeriích v České republice v Brně, Zlíně, spolupracuje s designery a její umění je v soukromých galerijních sbírkách.

This artist was born in 1972 in Zlín in the Czech Republic. After finishing grammar school in Zlín and following the fall of the Iron Curtain in the nineteen nineties, she moved to Vienna, where she worked for 3 years and started to devote a lot of her energy to art. She worked as a gallery assistant in Vienna.

In 1994 she moved to Germany, where she lived for 12 years. She lived and worked in the towns of Heilbronn, Stuttgart and Karlsruhe. During this period, she was greatly influenced by the Jewish culture and community. She actively worked as an artist and her works were exhibited in a number of galleries in the towns of Stuttgart, Heilbronn, Ludwigsburg, etc. She took art courses in Israel and Heilbronn.

In 2006 she moved to the town of Jönköping and Göteborg in Sweden, where she lived for 10 years. Her life in the countryside and her studio built on the edge of a lake influenced her work for several years.

In 2016 she returned to the Czech Republic, where she lives and works today. She creates her current works in her large studio in the city of Zlín.
Since 2018 she is a member of the UVUO.

The mentor of this artist and her teacher during her creative period is the painter Ingo Hoffmann, who was active in the south of France, in the town of Boulbon in the very heart of Provence. Martina Mokrášová attends his seminars and art courses. Mr Ingo Hoffman has been an honoured member of La Maison des Artistes since 1987, and is a graduate of the University of Art in Berlin, Ecole Duperré in Paris and des Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Avignon. He is a state-recognised expert in art and pedagogy in France.

Martina Mokrášová's favourite technique is oil on large canvases. She primarily paints abstracts and works with 24-carat gold on canvas. This artist's favourite theme is capturing the energy of cities in contrast with the many years she spent living in the countryside in Sweden. Her paintings are exhibited in galleries in Brno and Zlín in the Czech Republic. She works with designers and her art is included in private gallery collections.
